Women’s Day

March 8 is International Women's Day – a celebration of respect, appreciation, and love towards women. On Wednesday 09/03/16 the topic of the English club with Maria and Paul was dedicated to this spring holiday. At the beginning, traditionally, the club members practiced the pronunciation of some complicated English sound together with Maria. Then they discussed the historical background of the holiday, compared the rights of women in Ukraine and the USA, working in pairs described how they celebrated the holiday and what presents they received. They made a conclusion that women have to be respected and cared every day not only during the holiday!
